This website (cammitchell.co.nz) is run on behalf of Cam Mitchell's fundraising campaign. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it.

This campaign is run by an individual and is not a registered charity.

What we collect

Depending on how you interact with the site, we may collect:

  • Contact details you give us directly, such as name, email address, and phone number (for example, through a contact form, donation or event sign-up)

  • Payment and donation information, processed securely through Squarespace and Humanitix. We do not store your card details ourselves

  • Ticket and auction activity, such as items purchased or bid on, through Humanitix and GalaBid

  • Website usage data, collected automatically through Google Analytics (GA4) and the Meta Pixel, including pages visited, device type, and general location

  • Email preferences, if you subscribe to updates through Klaviyo

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

  • Process ticket purchases, donations, and auction bids

  • Send updates about the campaign and event, if you've signed up to receive them

  • Understand how people use the website, so we can improve it

  • Run and measure the effectiveness of our advertising

Who we share it with

We share information with the third-party services that help us run the campaign, including Stripe and Humanitix (payments and ticketing), GalaBid (auction), Klaviyo (email), and Meta and Google (advertising and analytics). Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

We do not sell your personal information.
